Having fallen through a trap at the end of Sandopolis, Sonic and Tails now find themselves deep in the heart of Angel Island's volcanic Lava Reef Zone. The heat isn't the only threat to our heroes, as even here Robotnik has sent a small army of Badniks on patrol. As if things weren't bad enough for the Blue Blur, the ever sneaky Knuckles also returns with a trick or two up his sleeve...
