Prambanan Temple Compounds, This is Indonesia's largest Shiva temple compound, dating back to the 10th century. Three temples dedicated to the three principal Hindu divinities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma) and three temples dedicated to the animals who serve them rise above the center of the last of these concentric squares, each with reliefs depicting scenes from the epic Ramayana.
