You cannot imagine how important it is that you believe the truth.

What you believe affects every facet of your life. If you believe a lie, you are going to live a lie. And the biggest problem with believing a lie, is that it leads to more lies. Just like truth leads to more truth, lies lead to more lies. There is no lie that leads to the truth and no truth that leads to a lie.

So, when we believe a lie, like, for example, we are not loved, that belief leads us to the lie that we should love ourselves. Loving ourselves leads to more suffering. It doesn’t help us, it hurts us.

But, if you know the truth that you are loved, you have no desire to love yourself. You want to get busy loving others, because you know more than anyone that you are loved, not because of who you are, but despite who you are.

You are loved, because God is love. He loves you, so now you want to love others.

See how truth leads to more truth and lies lead to more lies.

I can’t change what you believe, but you can. Get busy doing it!

Seek the truth at all costs. It will change your life forever! And, yeah, it will set you free.

Think about it.

Trust God’s Word no matter what, because His word is truth.
