Sensing this, Krishna gently stepped forward and smiled. He understood that the river goddess, Yamuna, was testing them. With his divine presence, he addressed the river, “O sacred Yamuna, part your waters and quench our thirst.”

The moment Krishna spoke, the river recognized his supreme divinity. With great reverence, she parted her waters, revealing a stream of the purest, crystal-clear water. Krishna and his friends drank to their hearts’ content, refreshed and revitalized.

This miraculous event was yet another display of Krishna’s connection with nature and the universe. His ability to command the elements was not rooted in force but in divine harmony. The river, like all of creation, bowed to the one who upheld righteousness and love.
