Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, speaking in Hyderabad, launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led central government, accusing it of using temples and religion for votes. He stated that his government provides funds for temple redevelopment as a responsibility, not for political showmanship.
Revanth Reddy also alleged injustice to southern states, claiming that special financial packages are being extended to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, while southern states are treated as second-grade citizens. He said the issue was raised before NITI Aayog and asserted that people will respond politically on February 11.
