Spirits are high for Haiti's rum producers

The earthquake that ravaged much of Haiti in January stopped production of a prized product and the country's national drink: rum. Reserves ran low at home and abroad, and bottles were selling on the black market for double their normal price, according to producers. But Haitians can look forward to a plentiful flow of the "brown gold" once again. Barbancourt, the blenders that make the majority of the country's rum, are back up and running. Duration: 01:18
