How to Make Deviled Eggs - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. I am going to take an egg and make a very reasonable, simple appetizer that people love: deviled eggs. Once you have hard boiled them and peeled them, we are going to cut them in half, and then we are going to pop out the yolk. And then I take the yolks and I put them through a strainer, and I just push them through and it makes them really smooth, once you add the mayonnaise and mustard and your seasonings, and they come through the other side without any lumps in your deviled egg. So then once you have the egg yolk in here, we are going to add a little mustard and mayonnaise into the mix. I like Dijon mustard. I like just a little dab of that in there. A little salt and pepper. I use white pepper. White pepper does not show up in light colored things, soups, stocks and sauces and stuff. You should - it is the white pepper in here. So just a little sprinkle of white pepper, and then I mix it all together until it is smooth and easy to pipe into the egg once it is ready. So there we go you, have your filling, it is nice and creamy and ready for piping into the deviled egg. Then I take a heavy Ziploc bag. You can get a piping bag. For me this is just as easy sometimes. I just take a Ziploc bag and I just fill the bag with the filling and then when I get to the event I take the baggy, I squeeze it down, cut a little end off and then I just pipe in the deviled egg mixture into the egg and then I take a little paprika and I just put a little dab of paprika on there. And for me this is an easy way to bring a deviled egg to a party.
