Well Autumn has officially arrived in Israel, as a cold front moved in bringing rain to most parts of the country. Heavy showers were reported in the Tel Aviv area, Haifa, the Golan Heights, Nahariya and Netanya, over the weekend, with isolated showers falling in Jerusalem and the surrounding area. On Sunday, rain fell in Jerusalem and the surrounding foothills with temperatures slightly chillier that usual for this time of year. Temperatures are expected to rise and the weather is expected to remain pleasant and rain free over the Rosh Hashana holiday which starts on Wednesday.
