March of the Peers (Sullivan arr R. A. Ridings). Played by the Orchestra of the Band of Corps of Royal Engineers conducted by Captain Richard Annison Ridings OBE ARCM, PSM, RE. Captain Ridings was appointed Bandmaster of the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry in 1957 and then Bandmaster of the Royal Scots in 1966. In 1968, he was commissioned as Director of Music to the Royal Engineers Band (Aldershot) holding this appointment until October 1970 when he was appointed Director of Music to the Royal Engineers Band in Chatham. He ended his career in the British army as a Lieutenant Colonel Director of Music to the Regimental Band of the Coldstream Guards. Richard Ridings died on 21st September 2008.
