This was another team project. We started with the concepts storyboarding them with Yasmin Imamura. We were on a deadline so we quickly moved onto the animation. Working with Michael we animated the M. I built off of his 3d animation with some animation in after effects. We ended up making this animation in 3 lengths at 8,5, and 3 seconds.
Technical: Utilizing optical lens flares we added the purple lights on the left side. We created simple shapes and rotated them with low opacity on top of the lens flares. We masked that whole composition and scaled it down after the flash of lights. We rotated the text in 3d, and faded in the remaining text.
