This is exactly how Africanized bees act when want to protect their home, here we have a SWARM not a hive, swarms are usually not aggressive because they have no brute or honey to protect, but when you come across Africanized, they don't need any brute or honey to attack. Yes we did saved the swarm and re-queen the colony, it's not the first time we come across Africanized bees.
