Villagers in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district have taken to the streets, protesting the death of two girls who succumbed to injuries after being run over by a rashly driven gypsy. The villagers allege that a relative of Punjab's Chief Parliamentary Secretary is responsible for the deaths and have refused to cremate the victims' bodies till he is arrested. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has said that the government won't interfere in the probe.
